We are conveniently located in the town centre close to the Embankment and a short walk from the Bedford Bus Station and the Midland Railway Station. The nearest public car park is at Lurke Street.

Opening Times:

Tuesday - Saturday: 11am - 5pm (last entry 4.45pm)
Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays: 2 - 5pm (last entry 4.45pm)
Closed Mondays (except Bank Holidays), Christmas, New Year and Good Friday

Wheelchair available on request There is a lift to the first floor and a toilet for disabled visitors.

Shop The Museum shop offers a variety of interesting and unusual gift ideas, including toys for children.

All works viewable by appointment

Research and Study facilities

Hire of Facilities The Museum has a room for hire with blackout which seats 40 people and the Museum can also be booked for private functions.
