Sculptural Frame - The Old Town Hall, Hemel Hempstead 1996/97

The theatre management at The Old Town Hall commissioned me to design and make a steel frame to accommodate an information board, and which would incorporate an image of the building. The Old Town Hall is unusually shaped and cannot be easily seen from any point on the High Street, hence the 'cartoony' drawing of the building. The figures are my own contribution to which I added aspects of the building's carved details and its history. The frame is a permanent addition to the foyer of the building and has been very well received.
