Wishing Tree - Bedford River Festival 2000

Designed in collaboration with Bedford residents, for interaction with the public visiting the River Festival, this temporary 15 feet high structure was made entirely from recycled materials. Over 1200 visitors wrote their wishes from the future on coloured 'leaves' which they then hung from the tree over the very wet Festival weekend. The wishes have been kept with the intention of display in another format in the future.
