Lace prickings, most on parchment, include baby lace and a lappet. The triangular insert is almost certainly an AA Carnes pattern, and two other prickings are named (Cross & Cowley). The Museum holds a large collection of Bedfordshire & Buckinghamshire lace prickings, as well as bobbins and lace.
